Re: As Brennan and crew try to uncover the secrets behind a young woman found in a fridge, her old professor and lover shows up to challenge her ideas both in and out of the courtroom.
Outstanding: I thought I'd dislike it, but the way they showed Brennan struggling to make herself understood to a jury of "Normal people" when she is so comfortable with technobabble was great. Her old professor was just the right amount of smarmy and charming.
Unacceptable: The police work end of things really got shirt shrift this time. More than usual, anyway.
Summary: The story was mostly incidental in this episode, like many others, but the humanity of the victim drove every move and conversation, really making for a good episode. And Josh Hopkins (Cougartown's Grayson) was perfectly cast.
